Yesterday, I had hoped to be able to speak in the debate on the Brexit deal, before voting against it today. Instead, the Prime Minister pulled the meaningful vote because she seems to think that she can secure concessions from the EU on the Irish backstop – despite virtually nobody else seeming to think that this is possible!

There isn’t a Brexit deal that won’t make east Bristol worse off. I asked the Prime Minister yesterday to just get on with having the vote, so that the rest of us can get on with trying to sort this unholy mess out.
