I am holding a coffee morning meeting in Stockwood in the New Year to discuss upcoming transport and housing development in the area, including the new proposed A4-A37 link road, as well as how to support community groups. A member of Bristol City Council’s transport department and local community activists have also been invited. The meeting will be on Saturday the 19th of January at Christ the Servant Hall, Stockwood Road, from 11am to 12.30pm. Please do sign up using the Eventbrite link below if you are planning to attend.

I have written to the leader of Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Council as I am unhappy that Stockwood residents, who are living in close proximity to the proposed new link road, haven’t been properly informed or consulted about their plans because they live over the border in Bristol. I hope that BANES Council will now proactively engage with Stockwood residents, and I’ll keep pressing them to do so.
