Last week I joined The Climate Coalition in Parliament for its annual #ShowTheLove celebration and to support a future where the UK no longer contributes to climate change. Up and down the country thousands of people have proudly been wearing green hearts to show they want to protect the people, places and lives they love from climate change.

Following last October’s ground-breaking report by the IPCC that we have 12 years to avoid catastrophic climate change, it’s never been clearer that we need a net zero emissions target by 2045 to be passed into law.
