On Wednesday I joined my colleague Thangam Debbonaire MP for Bristol West for a Westminster Hall debate on the role pension funds can plan in tackling the climate emergency and the transition to net zero emissions. I fully support the Divest Parliament campaign and remain bitterly disappointed that, despite our wishes, the parliamentary pension fund still holds fossil fuel investments.
