Friends of Eastville Park were planning on hosting a Santa’s Grotto event. Unfortunately, due to Storm Atiya, they had to cancel. I visited during the election campaign and saw the huge amount of work that had gone into this.

Adding to their misfortune, they were subsequently the victim of a break-in, and catering equipment and over 600 presents for children were taken.

Please do support them if you can! The volunteers did amazing work – you should have seen some of the things they’d made. They need their faith in human nature restored…
