Back in October, I wrote to the Department of Health to share a constituent’s experience of Long Covid, and our concerns about the lack of available support.

Although it’s taken until now to receive a response (!) the Minister’s reply is comprehensive. While I absolutely think the Government should be doing more, this is a decent starting point. I’ll be sure to keep a close eye on developments as we move into the next phase of support, and as more clinics open.

On a related point, given the similarities between Long Covid and ME/ CFS, I have also just received a reply to a letter I wrote to the Department of Health back in July last year (!!) about ME and Graded Exercise Therapy. I am in touch with quite a few constituents already on this topic, but if anyone else would like an update, please do let me know.
