I’ve been attending remembrance events over the past week or so to mark the 63rd anniversary of the Tibetan Uprising. I spoke to a gathering in Trafalgar Square on the 10th before they marched to the Chinese Embassy to protest against China’s occupation and to recognise the enduring struggle of the courageous Tibetans, who to this day continue to resist. It was great to see my Tibetan-Bristolian friends at the rally! Tenzin Tibet.

I also joined other members of the All-Party Group for Tibet yesterday to lay a wreath at Westminster Abbey in memory of all the innocent victims of oppression and war. This reminder was more timely than ever against the backdrop of the Ukrainian people’s valiant resistance to Russian tyranny. Visit Free Tibet to support their vital work.
