I have signed a joint letter to the Housing Minister following the recent publication of the Social Housing Green Paper, which is woefully inadequate and does little to properly address the housing crisis. Crucially, the Government must provide investment to local authorities and housing associations so that they can build social housing, something which the Green Paper does not address. Unless this is done, it is unlikely that the housing shortage facing cities like Bristol is ever going to be resolved.
