Last week I joined over 90 colleagues from across the political spectrum in co-signing a letter to Claire Perry, Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth, urging her to put measures in place to ensure that the UK capitalises on its role as a world leader in wave and tidal power. With Government support, there is an opportunity to export these innovative renewable technologies abroad, support over 12,000 jobs here at home, and help us tackle the current climate emergency.
