I have just signed a letter calling for the Home Secretary to urgently review the Home Office’s decision to refuse asylum to Kenneth Macharia. Kenneth, who is openly gay and plays for the LGBT-welcoming rugby team Bristol Bisons RFC, fears what the consequences will be if he is forced to return to Kenya, where same-sex relations are illegal. I hope that this decision will be reconsidered.
