I’ve added my name to this letter to the King of Thailand, calling for him to stop the execution of two Burmese nationals, who were convicted of the murder of two British nationals on the island of Koh Tao, by issuing a Royal Pardon.

I am opposed to the death penalty in all circumstances, and in this case there have also been concerns raised about how the convictions were obtained. As a member of the All-Party Group on the Abolition of the Death Penalty, I will carry on campaigning for an end to all judicial executions.
