How would you feel if you knew your tax money was being used to support fossil fuels overseas? I think, like me, you’d be outraged. But that’s exactly what UK Export Finance, a Government agency is doing.

An investigation by Newsnight and Greenpeace, which I was interviewed for following my work on this issue last year, shows that UKEF is supporting fossil fuel projects abroad with the estimated carbon emissions of a country the size of Portugal.

It’s completely ludicrous and highlights the Government’s gross hypocrisy when it talks about showing global climate leadership.
