I am one of 134 MPs and peers who have signed a letter to the Prime Minister expressing our grave concerns about Donald Trump’s so-called ‘Peace Plan’. This plan shows contempt for the aspirations and rights of the Palestinian people and international law. It provides no realistic basis for a return to negotiations. The UK must reject this plan in favour of one which provides for a viable Palestinian state with the 1967 borders as the basis, alongside a secure Israel.

I’m calling on the Prime Minister to reconsider the UK’s ‘welcome’ for the deal, and to outline what action it will take to respond to Netanyahu’s stated intention to annex parts of the West Bank.
