It’s great to see that Royal Mail have chosen Bristol East Central for their first all-electric delivery office, ahead of the Council’s introduction of a Clean Air Zone in the city centre in October.

Once again, Bristol is leading the way in terms of decarbonising our transport networks and greening our economy. It follows the recent news that what is being billed as the world’s largest biomethane refuelling station for HGVs will open in Avonmouth before the end of the year. Bristol already has 99 bio gas buses, and by the time the CAZ opens, all our buses will meet air quality standards.
